For manufacturers with 20 to 250 people

Your ERP already knows which jobs will ship late. Now you can ask it.

Voxcon connects Claude, Anthropic's AI, to the ERP, QuickBooks and spreadsheets you already run. Read-only, nothing replaced, and every verified answer shows the records it came from.

First answers on your own system in three weeks. $5,000, fixed. If we can't connect, your deposit comes back.

The problem

Your ERP works. Everything around it runs on spreadsheets and one person's memory.

You ask a simple question about your own business. Which jobs are late? Who owes us money? Instead of an answer, you get “I'll have to pull a report,” an export to Excel and a wait.

The answers are already in your systems. Getting them out shouldn't take a report request, a call to your ERP reseller or an afternoon in Excel.

An inspector with a clipboard checking orders on a production line
  • Every new report means waiting on the one person who knows the system.
  • The numbers live in the ERP, QuickBooks and three spreadsheets that don't agree.
  • The person who built your reports is retiring.
  • You tried ChatGPT, but it can't see your systems, and nobody should paste your numbers into a personal account.

What this is not

  • Not a new ERP or a migration. Yours keeps running.
  • Not a chatbot for your customers.
  • Not a dashboard project.
  • Not an AI strategy deck.
  • Not a way to cut staff.
  • Not “ask anything.” Only verified questions, with the records behind them.

It takes report-pulling off the one person everyone waits on.

How it works

First answers in three weeks

It's management reporting without the report request. It starts small: one system, three to five of your questions and about four hours of your time. The three weeks start the day you grant read-only access. Nothing is written back to your systems, and your staff keep working the way they do now.

  1. Free. Written reply within two business days.

    Send us three questions

Tell us what runs your business and three questions you can't answer today without asking someone or exporting to Excel. Sal writes back with which ones your systems can likely answer and what it would take. Rather talk? Leave your phone number on the form, and Sal will call to set up a 30-minute conversation.

  2. Week 1

    We connect, read-only

Your IT person or ERP reseller creates a read-only login that you can switch off at any time. We set up a small connector program on a computer your company owns. It reads only what you approve, it can't change anything, and it logs every query. It only connects outward, so nothing has to be opened in your firewall. If we can't connect, we stop and refund your deposit.

  3. Week 2

We write down what your words mean

“Late,” “open,” “shipped short” and “margin” mean something specific in your shop. We write those meanings down with you. Then we test each question against a result you already know. Only then do we call it verified.

  4. Week 3, then 30 days

You ask. The numbers come to you.

You and the person who will use it most ask your questions in a live session, on site or by video. You type them into Claude, Anthropic's AI assistant. It works much like ChatGPT, but on your company's own business account, connected to your systems. Each verified answer shows the records behind it, and the query if you want it. Then your key numbers arrive by email every Monday at 7 a.m. for 30 days, with nothing to log into. You also get a one-page plan: what to connect next, a fixed quote, and a straight answer on what AI won't fix.

Pricing

A fixed quote before work. No hourly billing, and no per-user fees from us.

You buy Claude seats directly from Anthropic, in your company's name, with no markup from us.

Connect the Rest

$12,000 to $30,000

fixed quote, 4 to 8 weeks

Most builds cost $15,000 to $25,000. Quotes run from $12,000 to $30,000, and bigger jobs are split into phases. Choose more answers: up to three systems, 20 to 30 verified questions, Monday emails for sales and operations, and training. Or take one chore off someone's desk, such as advisory lot and shipment lookups for audits, or replacing one Access database or Excel macro workbook you want to retire. Every build includes a written guide to the setup. Anything that writes into your systems is quoted only after First Answers proves the connection. Claude drafts; a person approves every change. The first 60 days of the Service Plan are included.

Service Plan

From $750 a month

month to month

Keeps the answers right and the Monday email coming. Every verified question re-runs each night, with an alert if an answer changes when it shouldn't. We update the connector, re-check your answers when Anthropic updates Claude, and update your definitions when you add a product line, a warehouse or a price list. Each month you get new verified questions (three on one system, five on up to three), a 30-minute review and a one-page report in plain English. Sal replies within one business day. $750 a month for one system, $1,500 for up to three. Anything beyond the plan gets a fixed quote. Refer a company that buys First Answers and get a month free. Cancel with 30 days' notice and keep everything we built.

Who it's for

Built for owner-run manufacturers

Owner-run manufacturers of 20 to 250 people. They run an ERP that works, QuickBooks next to it and a few spreadsheets in between. They have no plans to replace any of them.

A roll of material on a converting machine

Machine builders and equipment OEMs

The usual pain

There's no visibility on a late job until the customer calls, and nobody tracks which quotes became orders. Every new report waits on the one person who knows how to pull it.

What you can ask

You ask, “Which jobs are waiting on parts that haven't arrived?” or “What did we quote this quarter that never became an order?” You get the answer and the records behind it.

Common in these shops

Macola · Epicor · Global Shop · E2 / JobBOSS2 · Infor Visual · Sage 100 · QuickBooks

Strapped cartons moving on a conveyor

Converters and contract manufacturers

The usual pain

Orders live in the ERP. Scrap and yields live in a production spreadsheet. Month-end means exporting and pasting until the numbers agree.

What you can ask

You ask, “What did scrap cost us by line last month?” or “Which customers got partial shipments this quarter, and why?” You get one answer from both places, with the records behind it.

Common in these shops

Macola · Epicor · Global Shop · E2 / JobBOSS2 · Sage 100 · QuickBooks · Production spreadsheets

Thermoformed trays moving through a packaging line

Medical device makers

The usual pain

An auditor or customer asks who received a lot, and someone drops everything to pull label, shipping and QuickBooks records together. With FDA's QMSR in force since Feb. 2, 2026, those requests aren't going away.

What you can ask

You ask, “Which customers received lot 2308?” or “Which lots expire within 12 months, and where are they?” Each verified answer points to the records behind it. Answers are advisory, not your quality-system record.

Common in these shops

Lot and label records · BarTender · Shopify · QuickBooks Online · Excel

Sal has already connected to Macola, QuickBooks Online and Odoo, and to SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases. For any other system, the first week shows whether a read-only login is possible. If it isn't, your deposit comes back.

What Sal has built around Macola and QuickBooks

Voxcon is new. The work behind it isn't. Sal built these before Voxcon, as the in-house engineer at two small manufacturers. Company names are left out, and the examples elsewhere on this page use made-up numbers.

  • At a packaging and converting equipment builder on a long-running Macola ERP, Sal built one read-only connection to the ERP. It fed apps for the shop floor, accounting, sales and shipping. The ERP wasn't replaced; it stayed the system of record.
  • At the same builder, a tool checked customer POs from PDFs and spreadsheets against the ERP: customer, part numbers, duplicate POs, tax and shipping terms. An AI model compared each PO with the order line by line and flagged what didn't match. Problems had to be fixed, not clicked past.
  • At the same builder, Claude was put to work where a person still decides. It scored sales prospects from their public websites for about half a cent each. It also drafted marketing emails inside the CRM for a person to review and send.
  • At the same builder, years of CRM deals were matched to ERP orders, so each customer's history could be seen in one place.
  • At a medical device maker, Sal put GS1 UDI barcodes on every unit and box label. At fulfillment, the system refused any lot not marked “Sterile & Released” or expiring within a year.
  • For the same device maker, Sal built QuickBooks Online inventory sync, plus fee reports for a hospital purchasing group in the group's own Excel format.

Questions owners ask

Straight answers, including the uncomfortable ones.

Will this replace our ERP, or our people?

Neither. Your ERP, QuickBooks and spreadsheets keep running as they do now. The connection is read-only, so it can look but can't change anything. If a later project writes something back, a person approves it first.

It isn't a new ERP, a chatbot for your customers, a dashboard project, an AI strategy deck or a way to cut staff. It takes report-pulling off the one person everyone waits on. It's a way for the people who run the business to get answers from the systems they already pay for.

Where do our records go?

We read them through a read-only login you create and can switch off, using a connector on a computer your company owns. When someone asks a question, Claude gets the question, the names of the tables and fields involved, our written definitions, the queries it writes and the rows those queries return. It all goes through your company's own business account with Anthropic. On business accounts, Anthropic says it doesn't train its models on your content by default. Every query is logged on your machine, and we show you exactly what was sent.

If your records must stay on your own servers, check that box on the form. We'll tell you honestly whether this fits.

What if an answer is wrong? Our records are a mess.

That's the real risk with AI, so we don't sell “ask anything.” We write down what “late,” “open” and “shipped short” mean in your shop. We test each question against a result you already know, and only then call it verified. Every verified answer shows the records it came from, and the query if you want it. You check it like a report instead of trusting it like a rumor. Anything we haven't verified is marked that way.

Messy records are normal. If yours can't support a question, we tell you before you pay for more.

We're only 30 people, and we have no IT person. Will this work for us?

Yes. Voxcon is built for companies of 20 to 250 people, and we do the technical setup for the connection. We need one thing from you: someone who can create a read-only login. That's often your ERP reseller or outside IT firm, and we tell them exactly what to set up. The connector runs on a computer your company owns, such as a spare PC or your existing server, so there's no hardware to buy from us. If you need anything new, we'll say so before you sign.

Sal has already connected to Macola, QuickBooks Online and Odoo. For other systems, the first week shows whether a read-only login is possible. If it isn't, your deposit comes back.

You're one engineer. What if you're not around?

Sal takes on no more than two client projects at a time. What he sets up keeps working without him: on the Service Plan, the Monday email and the nightly checks run on their own. Your logins and Claude accounts are in your company's name. Your definitions and verified questions are written down, and they're yours. Every build comes with a written guide to the setup, so no one person, Sal included, is the only one who knows how it works. If you ever cancel, you keep all of it.

What does it cost, including Claude? And what if we stop?

First Answers is $5,000 for one system, plus $2,500 for each extra system. Builds get a fixed quote before work starts, most between $15,000 and $25,000. The Service Plan is $750 a month for one system or $1,500 for up to three. You buy Claude directly from Anthropic, in your company's name, with no markup from us. Anthropic's Team plan runs about $20 to $25 a seat a month, with a two-seat minimum.

Cancel the Service Plan with 30 days' notice and keep everything: your logins, your Claude accounts, your definitions and questions, and a permanent license to what we installed.

About

Sal Romano has done the jobs, not just the software.

Voxcon is Sal Romano, an engineer in northern New Jersey. You deal with him directly, from the first email to the monthly review.

At a medical device maker, Sal handled product design, equipment sourcing, certification, regulatory work, sterilization and fulfillment. He also built every internal system behind them. Then he ran the systems at a packaging and converting equipment builder: the ERP, accounting, sales, shipping and the shop floor.

That's why the first thing he asks is what “late” means in your shop. The hard part of a straight answer isn't the AI. It's knowing what your numbers mean.

Sal scopes and builds every connection himself and stays your contact after it goes live. He works on site within driving distance of northern New Jersey and by video everywhere else.

Vox is Latin for voice. We give your ERP and accounting systems one.
